Removal and installation the fuel pump (Mazda Capella GE)

1. Release the pressure from the fuel system.



2. Remove the rear seat and unscrew the mounting screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the casing.


3. Disconnect the pump connection connector (left), unscrew the nut and disconnect the wire from the top of the pump (right).



4. Disconnect the fuel supply hose (indicated by the right arrow) and the return pipe hose (indicated by the left arrow).




5. Remove the mounting screws (left) and remove the pump (right).

6. Disconnect the connection connector and remove the clamp.

7. Remove the pump from the bracket.

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace the sealing ring.
