Caution! During the inspection, the engine must be slightly raised to transfer its weight from the mounts to the lift.
Right engine mount
1. Through support bolt
2. Dynamic support damper
3. Support bracket nuts
Examination
1. Check the rubber shock absorbers of the supports for cracks and damage.
2. Move the supports with a large screwdriver; if the supports are loose, tighten their fasteners.
Replacement
Engine and gearbox supports (N1 and N₂)
1. Unscrew the support nuts that secure it to the crossbar.
2. Remove the through bolts and remove the support from the bracket.
3. Unscrew the cross member bolts and remove the cross member.
4. Install the new support onto the bracket and tighten the bolts.
Right engine mount (N3)
5. Unscrew and remove the through bolt of the support.
6. Remove the dynamic damper from the support.
7. Unscrew the support bracket nuts and remove the support.
8. Install the new support, insert and tighten the bolt and nuts.
Left engine mount (N4)
9. Remove the battery and battery mount.
10. Remove the support bracket bolts and nuts.
11. Remove the support bolts.
12. Remove the support.
13. Install a new support.
