Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the front of the vehicle.
3. Remove the lower engine shield.
4. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter.
5. Remove the oil dipstick.
6. Disconnect the wire from the oxygen sensor. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold and lower the pipe along with the catalytic converter.
7. Remove the bolts and oil pan.
Installation
1. Thoroughly clean and wipe the mating surfaces of the oil pan and cylinder block with solvent or acetone.
2. Clean the bolt holes in the cylinder block.
3. Inspect the oil pan for cracks or other damage. If you removed the oil pickup pipe, install a new O-ring.
4. Apply sealant to the oil pan flange.
5. Install the pan and tighten the bolts.
6. Install the remaining parts, start the engine and check the oil pan for leaks.
