Caution! The engine must be cold.
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the wire from the oxygen sensor. If you are installing a new manifold, remove the sensor.

3. Remove the bolts and heat shield from the manifold.
4. Lubricate the exhaust manifold nuts and bolts with penetrating oil.
5. Raise the vehicle and support it on supports.
6. Remove the exhaust pipe bracket bolts and lower the catalytic converter and exhaust pipe so they do not interfere with manifold removal.

7. Remove the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts and disconnect it from the cylinder head.
Installation
1. Clean off any remaining old gasket and carbon deposits from the mating surfaces of the manifold and cylinder head. If the manifold gasket was not sealed, it is necessary to check whether the manifold is deformed. Please contact a specialist to perform this check.
2. Install a new manifold gasket.
3. Install the manifold and insert the bolts.
4. Tighten the manifold bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
5. Install the remaining parts, start the engine and check its operation.
