Removal
1. Release the pressure in the fuel system.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Drain the coolant.
4. Remove the air intake pipe. Disconnect the accelerator cable, hoses and wires from the throttle body.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness, control cables and hoses from the intake manifold.
6. Disconnect the wires from the fuel injectors. Disconnect the fuel supply pipes from the fuel line.
7. Disconnect the EGR pipe and valve.

8. Remove the support bracket bolts and the intake manifold support.

9. Disconnect the hoses (A), unscrew the bolt (B) of the hose bracket, unscrew the bolts and nuts (C) of the intake manifold.
10. Remove the intake manifold.
Installation
1. Clean off any remaining old gasket from the mating surfaces of the manifold and cylinder head. Clean the surfaces with solvent.
2. Install a new gasket, position the manifold and insert the bolts.

3. Tighten the manifold bolts and nuts in the sequence shown.
4. Install the remaining parts. Start the engine and check for leaks. Check that all engine systems are functioning properly.
