Warning. If your car's audio system is equipped with an anti-theft protection, make sure you know the unlock code before disconnecting the battery.
2. Remove the inlet duct and air cleaner (see chapter 4).
4 cylinder engine
3. Remove the bracket connecting the intake manifold to the starter.
V-engine with automatic transmission
4. Disconnect the shift cable from the transmission lever (see chapter 7B).
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the throttle position sensor, knock sensor, ignition distributor, injector harness, and other gaps that may interfere with starter removal. Move the wires to the side.
6. Remove the shift cable bracket (see chapter 7B).
All models
7. Tag and disconnect the wires from the starter. Unhook from the starter ace about the zeros that are fixed on it.
8. Turn away bolts of fastening of a starter (pic. 15.8, a, b) and remove it from the engine.
9. Install the starter in reverse order.
