Warning. If your vehicle's audio system is equipped with anti-theft protection, make sure you have the unlock code before disconnecting the battery.
2. Loosen the nuts securing the air cleaner inlet duct. Disconnect the air duct and fresh air pipe from the air cleaner.
3. Disconnect the connector from the air flow sensor and air temperature sensor.
4. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the boost pressure sensor and switch brackets from the air cleaner,
5. Unfasten the air cleaner cover latches. remove the cover and take out the air filter.
6. Remove the air cleaner housing mounting bolts (figure 9.6) and remove the body from the car.
