Caution: Allow the engine to cool completely before starting this work.
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Warning. If your vehicle's audio system is equipped with anti-theft protection, make sure you have the unlock code before disconnecting the battery.
2. Remove the air duct connecting the air cleaner to the throttle body.
3. Disconnect the throttle position sensor electrical connector. Also mark and disconnect all vacuum hoses from the valve body.
For details, see the website [mazbook.ru]
4. Disconnect the accelerator cable and cruise control cable from the throttle actuator.
5. Disconnect the cooling system hoses from the valve body. Plug the hoses to prevent liquid from leaking out.
6. Remove the four nuts (or bolts) securing the throttle body (figure 13.6) and remove it together with the gasket. Scrape off any remaining gasket material from the mating surfaces of the throttle body and intake manifold.

7. Install the valve body in reverse order. Install a new gasket under the housing. Adjust the accelerator cable (see paragraph 10). Check the coolant level and top up if necessary.
