Disconnect the negative cable from the battery with the ignition off.

Note: This will erase data from electronic memory blocks, such as radio codes. See instructions in chapter "Electrical equipment".

Mark the position of the right front wheel relative to the hub so that you can install the wheel in the same position later. With the car on the ground, loosen the wheel bolts. Support the front of the car and remove the right front wheel.

Put on the poly V-belt, while loosening the belt tensioner by turning the middle bolt to the right.

If there is one, remove the lower cover (casing) of the engine compartment.

The additional units are driven by two separate poly V-belts. The belt tension is adjusted using tension bolts.

Loosen the tension roller clamp bolt (2) without unscrewing it. Do not loosen the power steering pump pulley bolts (I).

Loosen the poly V-belt using the tension bolt (3).

Installation

Put on the poly V-belt.

Tighten the poly V-belt by turning the tension bolt (3).

Attention: Check the tension. To do this, press the poly V-belt between the pulleys with your thumb and measure the depth of the deflection with a ruler. In this case, you should distinguish whether the belt is new or not. After several hours of operation, you can consider the poly V-belt not new. A new belt should deflect by 1-2 mm, and a non-new one - by 1-3 mm.

Tighten the tension roller clamp bolt to a torque of 6 Nm, i.e. lightly.

Install the poly V-belt cover.

Loosen the poly V-belt using the tension bolt (1).

Installation

Put on the poly V-belt.

Tighten the poly V-belt by turning the tension bolt (1).

Attention: Check the tension. To do this, press the belt firmly between the pulleys with your thumb and measure the depth of the deflection with a ruler. In this case, you should distinguish whether the belt is new or not. After several hours of operation, the belt can be considered not new. A new belt should deflect by 1-2 mm, and a non-new one - by 1-3 mm.
