Sound warning system — general description (Mazda Capella GC)

1. On models equipped with such devices, an audible warning alerts the driver to various faults and errors using four different signals.

2. The system and functions tested are as follows:

• Key left in ignition - Sound signal A
• Door Ajar - Sound Signal C
• Low fluid level / Low oil pressure / No charge / Blown rear light bulb - Horn B
• Headlights left on - Sound signal E

3. The warning unit is located behind the instrument panel on the driver's side. Any fault should be reported to a Mazda dealer or auto electrician.

4. Do not disconnect the warning unit as a way to silence it, as this will affect the function of some of the hazard warning lights.
