Excessive fuel consumption

• The air filter element is dirty or clogged (Section 1)
• The carburetor is worn out or improperly adjusted (Section 4)
• The choke cable is not adjusted correctly or the choke is stuck (Section 4)
• Incorrect ignition timing (Section 1)
• Tire pressure is insufficient (Section 1)

Fuel leak and/or fuel smell

• The fuel tank, lines or connections are damaged or corroded (Section 1)
• Overfilling of the carburetor float chamber (Section 4)

Excessive noise or fumes from the exhaust system

• The exhaust system or manifold connections are leaking gas (Section 1)
• Leaky, corroded or damaged mufflers or exhaust pipe (Section 1)
• Damaged fasteners that allow the system to come into contact with the body or suspension (Section 1)
