Lubrication of vehicle components (Mazda Capella GC)

1. The frame and steering components of these models do not require lubrication. Only the rear wheel bearings require periodic lubrication (Chapter 27).

2. Lubricate all suspensions (doors, hood, hatch) a few drops of motor oil to keep them in good condition.

3. Open the hood and lubricate the latch mechanism with white lithium grease (photo).



4. Apply to door and trunk lid seals (or the back door) special silicone aerosol. This will reduce friction and reduce wear.

5. The lock cylinders can be lubricated with graphite aerosol, which is available at auto parts stores.
