Checking the work
1. To check the operation of the lock, make sure that the engine starts only when the lever is in positions "P" and "N".
2. Locate the blocker wiring connector and disconnect it.
3. Connect an ohmmeter to the terminals of the blocker connector and make sure that current flows only when the lever is in the "P", "R" and "N" positions (photo).

4. When the ignition is on, current should flow between:
- Clamps A and B - lever in position "P"
- Clamps C and D - the lever is in the "R" position
- Clamps A and B - lever in position "N"
Replacement
5. Disconnect the connector and unscrew the lock from the transmission. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Apply sealant to the threads of the lock before installation.
