Block the front wheels, raise the rear of the vehicle and secure it on stands.
Remove the rear wheels and apply the parking brake to the vehicle.
Loosen the locknut and disconnect the parking brake cable sheath from the caliper bracket. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the caliper lever (see fig. 14.34).
Install a hose clamp on the brake hose going to the caliper.
Turn out a hollow bolt and remove a brake hose from a support. Remove washers.
Unscrew the upper and lower guide pins and remove the caliper from the bracket. Depress the brake pads.
Check guide pins and bushings for wear and damage; if necessary, replace them.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Tighten all bolts and nuts to the required torque, remove air from the hydraulic drive of the brake system. Depress the brake pedal several times to set the brake pads to the working position.
