Important! Replacing the starter motor brushes requires a powerful soldering iron and specific skills.
Remove the brushes from the brush holders. Remove the brushes one by one by lifting the spring and removing the brush. Sequential removal of the brushes is necessary to preserve the brush holder fixing plate. Measure the length of the brushes.
To replace, cut off the leads from the old brushes and solder the leads of the new brushes in place of the old ones. After installing new brushes, make sure they are insulated from the housing. Try to avoid adding excess solder when soldering, as this will reduce the flexibility of the leads.
Clean the manifold with a soft cloth dampened with solvent.
Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
