It is better to lubricate the friction surfaces with consistent grease or treat them with lubricating paste, as they adhere to the surface more firmly.

Before the cold season, spray a rust-fighting and insulating aerosol into the keyhole. It lubricates, displaces water and protects the lock cylinder from rust and freezing in winter.
