Models manufactured from April 1987 onwards are equipped with smooth crankshaft main bearing shells. Like earlier models, they had oil grooves. At the same time, additional holes for lubrication supply are made on the crankshaft journals.
Please note that you cannot install new main bearing shells on an old type crankshaft, as this will disrupt the lubrication supply.
