Checking the exhaust system (Mazda Capella GE)

1. Inspect the exhaust pipes for signs of leaks, corrosion and damage.



2. Check the connection between the downpipe and the exhaust manifold flange (arrow) for signs of leakage.



3. Check the connections of all sections of the exhaust system.



4. Check the condition of the exhaust pipe fastenings. Also check the condition of the underbody.
