Tailgate lock
1. Open the tailgate and remove the rear tailgate trim panels (figure 25.1).
2. Mark the position of the lock (to facilitate subsequent installation).
3. Unscrew the two mounting bolts and remove the lock (figure 25.3).
4. The lock is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Lock cylinder
5. Remove the right rear light (see chapter 12).
6. Disconnect the lock cylinder rod, then unscrew the cylinder mounting bolts (figure 25.6).
7. Remove the lock cylinder.
8. The cylinder is installed in the reverse order of removal.
