1. The direction indicators/hazard warning lights are controlled by the electronic control unit, which is located on the left under the front panel, above the connector for connecting the backlight lamp. The location of the block can be detected by the clicking sounds it makes when operating.
2. When a properly functioning unit is operating, clicking sounds should be heard. If the lamp of any turn signal stops turning on, the frequency of clicks changes, this indicates a malfunction of the lamp of one of the turn signals.
3. If both turn signal lights stop flashing, the problem may be a blown fuse, control unit, turn signal switch, or wiring in the circuit. If the target fuse is blown, repair the short in the target before installing a new fuse.
4. To replace the control unit, disconnect the connector from it and remove the unit from the bracket located behind the front panel.
5. Before installing the unit, make sure that the new unit is completely identical to the old one.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
