2. Stop the engine and connect the tachometer.
3. Disconnect the wiring connectors from the cooling fan motor and the air conditioner magnetic clutch.
4. Apply battery voltage to the GB terminal on the idle speed control valve and start the engine. With all electrical components disconnected, the engine idle speed should be 1200-1300 rpm. If not, adjust the valve adjusting screw as needed.

5. Stop the engine, reconnect the connectors and remove the tachometer.
