EGR Valve (EGI) — removal, inspection and installation (Mazda Capella GC)

1. Unscrew the mounting plate, disconnect the vacuum hoses and remove the valves from the air cleaner extension.

2. A vacuum pump is needed to check the valve. Attach the pump using a long tube, then slowly apply vacuum and check that the valve starts to open between 70-90 mmHg.



3. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
