2. Remove the air control valves as described above.
3. Start the engine, then increase and decrease engine speed several times, check that air is entrained in the valve housing, using a piece of paper as an indicator.
4. Keep the engine speed in the 2500 rpm range and check that no exhaust gas is emitted from the casing.
5. To remove the valve, disconnect the air ducts and unscrew the cover. Remove valve and rubber seals.
