Power steering valve adjustment (since 1984) (Mazda Capella GC)

Connect the tachometer to the engine, then start and warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.

Disconnect the connector from the power steering valve.



Connect the "ground" wire to the "GR" pin (figure 14.26). If all electrical consumers are turned off, the engine idle speed should be 950–1050 rpm. ¹ Otherwise, adjust the valve by turning the adjusting screw.

Turn off the engine, connect the connectors and remove the tachometer.
