Raise the front of the vehicle, support it securely on stands and remove the right front wheel and mudguard.

Loosen the power steering pump pulley mounting nut (figure 11.22).
Remove the generator and drive belt. On models with air conditioning, also remove the air conditioning compressor drive belt.
Remove the pump pulley.
Disconnect and plug the power steering lines.
Remove the four generator/power steering pump bracket mounting bolts and remove the pump and bracket from the engine.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
After installation, adjust the drive belt tension, fill the pump reservoir with fluid and bleed air from the hydraulic drive.
