Most models use disc brakes on the front wheels and self-aligning drum brakes on the rear wheels.

Certain models are designed with ventilated disc brakes on the front wheels and disc brakes on the rear wheels.

In the case of rear disc brakes, we are talking about wedged discs without a ventilation gap (window). Cars operating with an anti-blocking device are equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes.

A vacuum booster, i.e. a brake booster, is built into the brake system. The handbrake acts on the rear wheels.
