Examination
1. Disconnect the switch connection connector. Start the engine.
2. Set the front wheels straight and check that the switch opens the circuit.
3. Turn the wheels first one way and then the other until they stop and check that the switch closes the circuit when the wheels are almost completely turned.
4. Replace the switch if it is faulty.
Replacement
1. Disconnect the connection connector and unscrew the switch.
