Camshaft oil seals (Mazda Capella GE)

Replacement

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Put the car on the handbrake.

3. Set piston N1 to TDC.

4. Unscrew the camshaft sprocket bolt and remove the sprocket.



5. Remove the oil seal using a small screwdriver.

Installation

1. Lubricate the new oil seal with engine oil and install it in place.

2. Install the remaining parts and test the engine operation.
