Removal



1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Raise and support the front of the vehicle.

4. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter.

5. Unscrew the exhaust pipe connection bolts.

9. Disconnect the oil pickup pipe from the main bearing cap block and remove it.

Installation



1. Clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head, oil pan and cylinder block.

2. Inspect the oil pan, oil pickup pipe and bolt hole threads.

3. On all models, apply silicone sealant to the shaded surfaces of the cylinder block.
