Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the front of the vehicle.

3. Remove the engine guards.
4. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter.

5. Unscrew the exhaust pipe connection bolts.

6. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.
7. The oil pan can consist of one or two parts.

8. If the oil pan is in two pieces, remove the bolts at the rear of the transmission and engine case and remove the rear of the oil pan. Remove the remaining bolts and remove the pan.

9. Disconnect the oil pickup pipe from the main bearing cap block and remove it.

10. Unscrew the cover block bolts.

11. Remove the block of covers.
Installation
1. Clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head, oil pan and cylinder block.
2. Inspect the oil pan, oil pickup pipe and bolt hole threads.

3. On all models, apply silicone sealant to the shaded surfaces of the cylinder block.

4. For all models, apply silicone sealant to the mating surface of the cover assembly. Insert the block bolts and tighten them.
5. On models, apply silicone sealant to the mating surface of the oil pan. Insert the pan bolts and tighten them.

6. On all models, apply silicone sealant to the new oil pump and rear cover gaskets. Install the gaskets. Apply silicone sealant to the mating surface of the oil pan, install the oil pan and tighten the mounting bolts.
7. Install the remaining parts.
8. Wait 12 hours for the silicone sealant to cure and check the engine operation.
