Removal
1. Remove the clutch release slave cylinder.
2. Remove the gearbox.
3. Remove the bearing fork from the ball joint, press on the spring and remove the release bearing together with the fork.
Inspection
1. Try to rotate the inner race of the bearing by pressing on it. Replace the bearing if necessary.

2. Inspect the release lever for cracks or deformation.
Installation
1. Fill the inner groove of the release bearing with high temperature grease. Also lubricate the input shaft splines, ball joint and bearing mount.

2. Lubricate the socket on the lever and the ends of the release bearing fork with high-temperature grease, install the bearing on the fork.
3. Install the bearing onto the shaft and install the bearing fork onto the ball joint.
4. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
