The service intervals and types of maintenance given in this manual assume that you will perform all the work yourself, without contacting a dealer or service station. The work listed here is the minimum necessary to keep your car in good condition for daily driving. If you want to keep your car not just in good condition, but in the best condition, there are some types of maintenance that should be performed more frequently. It is also recommended to reduce service intervals if the vehicle is operated in very dusty conditions or for short distance trips (less than four miles) or at temperatures below zero.

New vehicle servicing should be performed by a dealer (at the service station) to maintain the warranty.
