1. There is fluid in the power steering that may require periodic topping up.
2. The power steering fluid reservoir is located on the left mudguard at the front of the engine compartment (pic. 6.2).
3. Before checking, set the front wheels to the straight-ahead position. The engine must be turned off, the liquid in the tank must be cold.
4. Remove the dipstick plug and check that the fluid level is between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick (pic. 6.4).
5. If necessary, add fluid to the correct level directly into the reservoir. Use a funnel to avoid spilling liquid.
6. If fluid has to be topped up too frequently, check all steering hoses and their connections for leaks.
