If a maintenance schedule is followed from the time the vehicle is purchased, the fluid levels in the systems are checked regularly and often enough, and frequently worn parts are inspected as recommended in this manual, then the car will always be in working condition and the need for additional work will be minimal.
However, there may be times when the engine still starts to fail. Such situations are more likely when buying a used car that has not previously received frequent and regular maintenance. In such cases, maintenance must be performed immediately and regardless of the schedule.
