2. Remove the steering wheel (Section 10).
3. Remove the screws and separate the steering column trim halves (photo).

4. Remove the ignition switch retaining ring.
5. Remove the ignition switch illumination bulb and (if equipped) tilt adjustment lever, under the column.
6. Loosen the switch clamp screw (photo).

7. Lift the key and pull the switch off the column (photo).
Press the combination switch key (arrow) to remove it, then pull the switch off the column
8. Remove the combination switch from the steering column and disconnect the connectors (photo).
With the switch removed from the steering column, the connectors can be easily disconnected
9. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
