Drive covers (late models)

1. Since May 1986, the engine drive covers have been changed as shown in the figure. The removal and installation procedures remain the same.

Crankshaft main bearings (late models)

2. From April 1987, lower crankshaft main bearing shells were supplied, taking into account that on earlier models they included oil grooves. At the same time, the crankshaft journals include additional holes to provide additional lubrication.

3. Note that it is important not to install bearings on earlier crankshaft models, otherwise it will not be sufficiently lubricated.

EGI engine - general information

4. On the EGI engine, the procedures described in Section 2, must be modified where necessary to take into account the fuel injection system and air supply components. See Chapters for the location of parts 5 and 7 from this Appendix. Links to the carburetor in Section 2 should be ignored.
