Removal
Remove the air filter.
Remove the valve assembly and disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose.
Loosen the bolts and remove the cylinder head cover from the engine.
If it is necessary to remove the gasket from the cover, knock it out with light blows of a hammer with a soft spacer or with a tool with a thin blade (spatula or screwdriver), inserting it into the corner part of the gasket.
Clean the cylinder head cover from any remaining gasket material on the mating surfaces. Do not remove them with a hard scraper or a scraper under any circumstances, as the aluminum alloy is very soft.

Installation
Install the new gasket and cover. Screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them to the specified torque.
Install the air filter and crankcase ventilation system components.
