Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Upper casing
Loosen the tension on the accessory drive belts and remove them.
Remove all accessible camshaft drive belt cover mounting bolts.
On models equipped with air conditioning, rotate the tensioner bolt until the fan belt tensioner pulley is fully depressed, then move the tensioner aside to gain access to the remaining shroud mounting bolts.

Remove the mounting bolts and remove the engine cover (figure 3.1).
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the tension of the drive belts.
Lower casing
Unscrew the upper mounting bolt, which can be accessed from the engine compartment.
Raise the front of the car, place it on stands, remove the right front wheel and mudguard.
Remove the two remaining bolts and remove the engine cover.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
