Proceed as follows:
- Mark the location of the clutch installation in relation to the flywheel. To do this, use a center punch to make a mark on the clutch cover and the outer side of the flywheel.
- Loosen the clutch bolts evenly in a crosswise pattern until the spring pressure is released.
- Remove the cover and take out the driven disk.
- Using a rag, immediately clean the inner surface of the flywheel and check its rubbing surfaces. If the driven disk has worn down to the rivet head, it may happen that the rivet on the flywheel surface will wear out.
