Antenna — replacement (Mazda Capella GF)

1. The vehicles described in this Manual are equipped with either a fixed whip antenna or an antenna with a retractable mechanism.

2. On models with a fixed antenna, unscrew the antenna pin with a wrench (figure 13.2).



3. Using special pliers or a similar device, unscrew the nut securing the antenna base (figure 13.3).



4. To access the antenna base, remove the passenger side trim panel (see chapter 11).

5. Disconnect the cable from the antenna base and unscrew the mounting bolt. For models with a pull-out mechanism, also disconnect the electrical wiring connector (Fig. 13.5).



6. Installation is carried out in sequence. reverse of removal.
