Warning. Halogen lamps are filled with pressurized gas and can break if their surface is scratched or dirty. Wear safety glasses and handle the lamp only by the base. Do not touch the glass of the lamp with your hand, as it is greasy. located on your fingers may cause the lamp to overheat and fail. If you touch the pampa with your hand, wipe it with a cloth soaked in alcohol.


1. Open the hood.

2. Turn on the headlights and move the headlight housing to the upper position. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal (see chapter 1).

Warning. If your car's radio has an anti-theft system, make sure you have the unlock code before disconnecting the battery,


3. Remove the screws securing the headlight trim panel (figure 14.3).

8. Compress the spring clips and remove the lamp from the headlight housing.

9. Without touching the glass bulb with your hands, insert the new lamp into the socket, then insert the spring clip into place (see Figure 14.7).

10. Connect the wiring connector and make sure the headlight works.
