2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Disconnect the fuel supply hose from the fuel filter side of the engine and connect the pressure gauge to the same place.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable and turn on the ignition.
5. Connect the terminals to the fuel pump connector with a long wire and check that the fuel pressure is within 2.50-2.85 kg/cm².
Checking the EGI fuel pressure
6. Start the engine at idle speed and check that the fuel pressure is between 1.9-2.3 kg/cm².
7. If the fuel pressure is outside these limits, check the fuel filter, pump and pressure regulator.
8. Turn off the ignition, remove the jumper wire from the pressure gauge and install the fuel supply hose.
