1. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on axle stands.
2. Place a drain container, rags, newspapers, and wrenches under the transmission.
3. Remove the transmission drain plug and allow the oil to drain into a container.
4. After the oil has completely drained, reinstall the plug and tighten it securely.
5. Remove the speedometer drive mechanism. Using a hand pump or funnel, fill the transmission with the required amount of fluid specified in Specifications oils (Chapter 4). Install the speedometer drive mechanism and tighten the bolt securely.
6. Lower the car to the ground.
