Figure 1.36. Location of the roof panel drive control switch: 1 – lift up; 2 – open; 3 – close; 4 – lower down
The sunroof can be moved electrically. To do this, turn the ignition key to the "ON" ("ll") position. To open the hatch, press the button located in the overhead console (figure 1.36). The hatch can be opened to any position. To close the hatch, press the key. For additional ventilation, the rear section of the sliding panel can also be raised. To do this, press the "UP" or "DOWN" side of the key to return the hatch to its original position.
In the raised position, the roof panel cannot be moved back. When the "OPEN" key switch is pressed, the raised roof panel first automatically returns to its original position and then moves backwards.
Please note: The sunroof and sunshade operate simultaneously. Therefore, when the hatch is open, the curtain should not be closed.
Release the key switch once the hatch is fully open or closed. If the switch is not released, the hatch may be damaged. Before leaving the vehicle, check that the sunroof is closed correctly.
Caution: Regularly clean dirt from the hatch guide.
Figure 1.37. Using an Allen key to manually operate the sunroof
In case of malfunctions in the electric drive, the hatch can be opened or closed manually. To do this, use the Allen key located in the glove compartment (figure 1.37).
