Below are the operations to replace the flywheel ring gear when damaged
teeth. Removing the ring gear on vehicles with automatic transmission is not provided.
Remove flywheel.
Heat the flywheel ring gear with a blowtorch and knock it off the flywheel with a hammer and punch.
Heat up a new flywheel ring gear to a temperature of 250-300°C (heat better in an oil bath or oven). Put a new crown on the flywheel.
When installing, the chamfer on the crown should be directed towards the engine. If necessary, besiege the ring gear with a hammer and drift.
Install the flywheel.
