Below are the steps for replacing the flywheel ring gear if it is damaged
removal of the ring gear on vehicles with an automatic transmission is not provided.
Remove the flywheel.
Heat the flywheel ring gear with a blowtorch and knock it off the flywheel with a hammer and punch.
Heat the new flywheel ring gear to 250–300°C (it is better to heat in an oil bath or oven). Place the new ring gear onto the flywheel.
When installing, the chamfer on the crown should be directed towards the engine. If necessary, seat the ring gear with a hammer and drift.
Install the flywheel.
