Removal

Remove the timing belt cover, timing belt and timing belt pulley from the crankshaft (figure 3.15).
Remove the oil pan.
Remove the engine mounting plate bolts.
Unscrew the bolts and remove the oil receiver pipe.
Insert a screwdriver into the corner of the lid and pry the lid off, opening its seal.
Clean the mating surfaces of the oil pump from any remaining sealant.
Installation

Lubricate the O-ring with grease and insert it into the pump. Apply a layer of sealant to the pump body in the places shown in the figure 3.16. Lubricate the working lips of the oil seal with fresh engine oil.
Install the oil pump and new gasket in place, secure with bolts, tightening them to the specified torque.
Install the oil receiver with the bracket, replacing the gasket with a new one. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
Install the oil pan.
Install a new oil filter (filter type – Champion F2O8) and connect the oil pressure sensor connector (if it was removed).
Install the engine mount plate and secure it with bolts.
Install the timing belt cover, timing belt and crankshaft pulley.
