Removal
Remove the gearbox.

Remove the drive disc (automatic transmission) or clutch housing with pressure plate assembly, clutch drive plate and flywheel (manual transmission) (figure 3.21).
Use a screwdriver to remove the oil seal.
Installation
Lubricate the new seal and insert it into the seat with the jaws facing inward. Install the seal by lightly tapping its peripheral part evenly until it stops.
Install the clutch drive disc, clutch housing with pressure plate and flywheel or torque converter.
Lubricate the bolt threads with sealant and tighten them to the specified torque.

Install the gearbox.
