Caution! Be careful – the liquid may be very hot.
Remove the oil pan mounting bolts and remove the pan, being prepared for possible fluid leakage.
Remove any remaining old gasket material from the transmission housing and oil pan, being careful not to damage the mating surfaces or allow dirt to enter the transmission housing.
Install the new gasket onto the transmission housing, first applying a layer of clean lubricant to it to hold the gasket in the correct position.
Install the oil pan and secure it with bolts, tightening them to the specified torque.
Screw in the drain plug and fill the gearbox with fresh working fluid.
Check the gearbox for leaks.
