Input shaft seal
Remove the gearbox.
Remove the torque converter from the input shaft.
Use a small screwdriver or a center punch to remove the old oil seal from the gearbox housing.
Lubricate the seal lips with clean engine oil and press the seal into the bore flush with the crankcase. The working edges of the oil seal must be directed towards the inside of the crankcase.
Install the torque converter.
Install the gearbox.
Drive shaft seals
Disconnect the left drive shaft or intermediate drive shaft. Insert a wooden plug or similar to hold the differential pinions in place. Prevent dirt from entering the gearbox.
Use a screwdriver to remove the old oil seal from the gearbox housing.
Lubricate the seal lips with clean oil or white lithium-based lubricant. Using a 45mm diameter tubular mandrel, press the seal into the hole. The working edges of the oil seal must be directed towards the inside of the crankcase.
Install the left drive shaft or intermediate drive shaft.
