8.5.1. Adjusting the throttle control cable

Check the adjustment and make further adjustments under these conditions.
8.5.2. Adjusting the device to facilitate starting a cold engine
This work is only necessary if air conditioning is installed. With the air conditioner running, the idle speed should be 725+25 rpm. If this isn't the case, loosen the lock nut on the idle speed booster and adjust the adjusting bolt accordingly.
8.5.3. Idle speed adjustment
Bring the engine to operating temperature before adjusting idle speed. The idle adjustment bolt is located on the rear of the pump, in the location shown in Figure 153.
Figure 153. Position of the idle speed adjusting bolt. The bolt is locked with a lock nut
To adjust the bolt, loosen the lock nut and adjust the bolt until the engine runs at 720 rpm. A deviation of plus 30 rpm to minus 20 rpm is acceptable.
After this, lock the bolt again.
