Attention! Make sure that diesel fuel does not get on the coolant hoses. Otherwise, the rods should be wiped off immediately. Damaged hoses must be replaced.
1. Make sure there is fuel in the fuel tank.
2. Open the air release screw (1) on the fuel filter.
3. Pump fuel from the fuel tank with a hand pump. The pump is located on top of the filter.
4. Pump fuel until air bubble-free fuel flows through the bleeder screw.
5. Press the hand pump to close the air release screw.
6. Pump with a hand pump until (about 15 times), until resistance is felt.
7. If the engine does not start because an air lock has formed in the fuel line, loosen the union nuts on the injection nozzles and turn on the starter until the fuel comes out. Then tighten the union nuts again and start the engine.
